SwissINSO invests in research and development

Located in the heart of the EPFL’s Innovation Square, SwissINSO has a very close collaboration with the scientists of the Solar Energy & Building Physics Laboratory (LESO-PB) of the EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Fédéral de Lausanne). This includes a technology transfer and research agreement for the innovative thin film coatings of the nanocomposite claddings and therefore in the development of Klymma’s thermal panels.

The innovative coloured coating for Klymaa’s panels is obtained by deposition of different nanocomposite films under vacuum. The composition and thicknesses of the films used for the coatings is invested on laboratory scale at the LESO-PB using the same techniques as used for production. This leads to the innovative technologies used by SwissINSO in products such as Klymaa.
