SwissINSO has developed two unique, stand-alone solutions, implementing the latest advances in solar energy research: Krystall and Klymaa. Using state-of-the-art photovoltaic panels to produce clean drinking water, Krystall can be used wherever water needs to be purified or desalinized; using patented solar thermal panels to deliver heating and cooling, Klymaa is designed to be used where buildings need to be heated or cooled down. A company driven by technological innovation
With head offices in Lausanne, Switzerland, SwissINSO was founded in 2006 by Michel Gruering, a former delegate for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and CEO of several international companies. Michel is focused on the development of long-lasting solutions designed to address the critical challenges facing mankind today. In the summer of 2010, SwissINSO moved its offices to the heart of Innovation Square at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL).
